Customers may request a return if:

  • The product received is damaged, defective, or broken.
  • The product delivered is different from what was ordered.
  • The product has a manufacturing defect.
  • The product is missing parts or accessories.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
  • The item must be unused and in its original condition.
  • Original packaging, tags, labels, invoices, and accessories must be retained.

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper handling.
  • Products returned without original packaging.
  • Customized or personalized products.
  • Gift cards, vouchers, or promotional items.
  • Intimate wear, personal care items, or hygiene-sensitive products (if applicable).
  • Products specifically marked as “Non-Returnable” on the product page.

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Provide:
    • Order Number
    • Product Name
    • Reason for Return
    • Clear photographs of the product and packaging
  3. Our support team will review your request and provide further instructions.

All return requests are subject to inspection and approval.
Ootacamund’s reserves the right to:

  • Approve or reject a return request after review.
  • Request additional photographs or information.
  • Decline returns that do not meet policy requirements.

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on the payment provider or bank.
  • Shipping charges, if any, are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Where applicable, customers may choose a replacement instead of a refund.
Replacement eligibility depends on:

  • Product availability
  • Stock status
  • Nature of the issue reported

If a replacement is unavailable, a refund may be offered.

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Share photographs of:
    • The product
    • The packaging
    • The shipping label

Failure to report within this timeframe may affect claim eligibility.

Orders may be cancelled before shipment.
If the order has already been shipped, cancellation may not be possible and the standard return process will apply.
Refunds for approved cancellations will be processed to the original payment method.

For approved returns due to:

Ootacamund’s may arrange return pickup or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs where applicable.
For returns initiated for personal preference or reasons unrelated to product defects, return shipping costs may be borne by the customer.
